Project Overview:
The Inventory and Stock Monitoring System is a full-stack web application designed for small and medium retailers to effectively track and manage inventory levels, supplier records, and stock movement.

The system allows real-time tracking of incoming and outgoing inventory, alerts users when stock falls below the reorder threshold, and helps store purchase and supplier information securely. This project aims to reduce manual inventory errors and improve efficiency in warehouse/store operations.

User Roles:

  1. Admin:
    • Add/edit/delete product entries
    • Set low-stock alert thresholds
    • Manage user access (if multi-user enabled)
  2. Inventory Manager/Staff:
    • Record incoming stock from suppliers
    • Log outgoing stock (sales, returns, etc.)
    • Monitor current stock levels and status

Key Features:
Product and Stock Management:

  • Add new products with SKU, quantity, supplier info, and price
  • Track stock status in real time

Low-Stock Alerts:

  • Auto-alert system when stock quantity falls below threshold

Sales and Purchase Logs:

  • Maintain a full log of product inflow and outflow
  • View past sales and purchases by date or product

Supplier Management:

  • Add/update supplier details
  • Associate products with specific suppliers

Dashboard & Reports:

  • Overview of current stock status
