The Smart Dustbin with Alerts is an IoT-based solution designed to improve waste management efficiency by automatically monitoring the fill level of a dustbin and sending real-time alerts when it reaches a predefined capacity. It helps in timely garbage collection and promotes cleanliness in public and private spaces by reducing overflow.

This system is particularly useful in smart cities, offices, hospitals, schools, and municipalities to streamline the waste collection process using technology.

Core Features:

1. Fill-Level Monitoring:

How It Works:

1. Ultrasonic sensor measures the distance between sensor and garbage level.

2. The data is sent to a microcontroller.

3. When the level crosses a set threshold (e.g., bin 90% full):

   • An alert is triggered via Wi-Fi/GSM.

4. Alert data is also pushed to a centralized web dashboard for monitoring.

5. Maintenance staff can plan efficient collection routes.
